Manual Software Tester / QA & Support Specialist

We are looking for a Manual Software Tester / QA & Support Specialist to join our continuously growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our proprietary web application while supporting its development through investigating, reproducing, and helping resolve reported issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual functional testing of our proprietary web application.
  • Verify new features, bug fixes, and product enhancements.
  • Execute regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
  • Reproduce, document, and track software defects.
  • Manage GitLab issues and collaborate closely with the development team.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Provide L2 application support by:
    • Receiving and investigating reported issues.
    • Reproducing and analyzing defects.
    • Escalating issues to the development team when necessary.
    • Collaborating with colleagues responsible for incident handling and business stakeholders.
  • Document test results and reported defects.

Requirements

  • At least 1–2 years of experience in manual software testing and/or IT Help Desk, Application Support, or Support Engineer roles.
  • Experience testing web applications.
  • Familiarity with GitLab or other version control and issue tracking systems.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies.
  • Strong defect analysis and documentation skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Flexible, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.

Nice to Have

  • Basic SQL knowledge.
  • Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
  • Familiarity with Chrome DevTools.
  • Experience creating and maintaining test cases.
  • Experience supporting software releases or participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
